LET ME RUN SPRING 2024 5K

So proud of our GFES Let Me Run boys who completed their Spring 5k on Saturday, May 4th. Despite the pouring rain, the kids (and parents!) showed up and ran with excitement. The boys concluded the season with a celebration and medal ceremony, and a fan favorite - dodgeball. Thank you to Anna Caputo, head coach, as well as Patrick Kelly & Bob Morean, assistant coaches, for a wonderful season. Fall of 2024 season will be right around the corner!

GIRLS ON THE RUN SPRING 2024 5K!

Last Saturday, May 18th, GFES Girls on the Run (GOTR) participated in the GOTR Spring 5K held at Fair Oaks Mall. Despite the rain, our girls and their buddy runners attended and ran their hearts out. Nothing stops these GOTR girls from a fun run! Thank you to head coach Courtney Tsai, assistant coaches Jen Yoon, Laura Cobletz and Cameron Smith, as well as parent volunteer Elle Dickerson! 

GIRLS ON THE RUN Fall 2023 5K!

Congratulations to all of our girls, and their families, who participated in the Girls on the Run 5K on November 18th! We hope our girls are feeling proud and had a lot of fun -- they worked very hard for this moment! Congratulations to our girls and coaches, especially to Coach Kelly Singer, on a great Fall season!!

LET ME RUN INAUGURAL Fall 2023 5K!

Congrats to the Let Me Run boys on an amazing race on Nov 4, 2023! We hope they feel proud of their hard work and accomplishments this season.  We speak for all the coaches in saying that it's been a joy to get to know this team and run with them these past seven weeks. 

The first race finisher was Jaxon Palmer, 5th grader at GFES and member of the inaugural Let Me Run team. His finishing time was 21:10
