Spanish Language Program
Exciting Changes for the 2026-27 School Year!
ChiCeLaCu will offer two extra days!
ChiCeLaCu! will offer the standard 3-day program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level students. This year ChiCeLaCu will offer two extra days as an optional conversational component to complement the 3-day course. These sessions will focus on speaking activities, fun games, and music-and-movement plays in a more relaxed, immersive environment. This module will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same time and is open only to children already registered for the standard 3-day course. Designed as a long-term program, this program may enable children to reach proficiency within 4-5 years of continued participation, with at least 3 days per week, including participation in Spanish summer camps. Students start at Beginner levels I & II and move up to the intermediate and advanced levels as they progress through their elementary school years. ChiCeLaCu combines the arts with dynamic and interactive approaches to create a fun and effective learning experience.
GFES PTA partners with the Children’s Center for Language and Culture (ChiCeLaCu) to offer a before-school Spanish Language Immersion program. Sessions begin September 14th and run through May 5th.
